May 05, 2010 — CW Roberts employees demonstrating the use of hay to assist in a defense against the oil spill in the Gulf. This is the method that is included in the Walton County Plan of Action.

The hay method is not a new idea. It has been tried at oil spill sites in the past and only added to the mess. The men in the video are not rednecks from Louisanna they are rednecks from North Florida and were pitching this idea to a council meeting while asking for a lucrative contract to enrich themselves.
