Judge Decides To Continue Restraining Order In Robeson Co. Animal Shelter Abuse Case

LUMBERTON, N.C. -- A hearing concerning a lawsuit brought against the takes place today.
Attorneys representing the Robeson County Animal Shelter asked a judge Friday to dismiss a lawsuit claiming the shelter engages in animal cruelty and to lift a temporary restraining order banning it from euthanizing animals.
The Gerber Animal Law Center in Raleigh filed a suit last week against the shelter claiming staff euthanized dogs and cats, even after rescue groups said they would adopt them.
Attorneys for the shelter claim the plaintiffs did not do enough to try to work out the disagreement before taking it to court, and that the county, the shelter and animal control officers cannot be sued for doing their job.

Jeff Bass and his crew should be banned from ever working with animals again...they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and then some, for what they do to these animals on a daily basis. NO CREATURE on God's Earth deserves this type of treatment, harsh condition, or neglect that these poor animals have to endure...especially until the final seconds of their unnecessary deaths. Please, STOP THE KILLINGS!!! STOP BASS!!! PLEASE!!! HELP THEM!!!
