Animals at Birmingham Animal Control need Kuranda beds Please help

The  Birmingham Jefferson County  Animal Control in    Alabama is in need of Kuranda Brand pet beds.
Their mission is to enhance the health, safety, and comfort of the abandoned or homeless animals in their care.
The floors are very damp and cold  it has bothered me a great deal. I campaigned for a shelter in another state for months while I put everything else on hold. Now I want to share with you our local shelter's problems. Our county pound is run by wonderful people that care so there isn't a problem   like there was at Robeson NC. Our facility doesn't have beds   and I want to help change that. I was hoping that all the wonderful people and friends of mine that help other shelter would try to help my local shelter. The animals need Kuranda bed's badly. Here is a very simple way to donate a bed. All you  have to do is go to the Kuranda bed website and click the donate button. Simple. I have seen new born pups laying on towels at this facility and it just breaks my heart. If we can do it for other shelters, we can do it for Birmingham. Please consider a small donation. It will mean so much to these animals that have been left here at this county pound. Thank you so much and please forward this to all of your friends.  The animals need you.

Here is there info if you would like to call them directly.

The animals that end up in shelters are souls that have been discarded without concern, abused, neglected, and treated as mere commodities. They are typically friendly, loving companion animals who are wholly adoptable. They give of themselves unselfishly and ask only that we keep them safe. Our society is doing an abysmal job of this responsibility and it is an indictment on our lack of empathy and compassion when we allow the very places charged with caring for these discarded souls to abuse and neglect them without remorse.

Won't you please help them today!
